Hotel Carlton

Excellent location 1 km from the train station and qiase next to Castelo Este. Attentive, great staff. Large room for single, safe, good Wi-Fi and shower, quiet. . Breakfast- I didn't take it Leave early Temperature control did not work as determined by law, said employee. Anyway the room got hot. Also, I've been traveling in Italy for a month and in other hotels the air conditioning worked.

This is my second stay here in less than one month. The second time I had to stay much longer because of the Covid. During my stay together with my wife and a two and a half years old son, the staff were incredible. Very helpful, very kind and nice, they supported and helped us however they can. Thank to the whole team of wonderful people. The room quality is good, the breakfast și amazing and they also have accessible rooms for wheelchair users. Also, in all the elevators all the buttons are marked in Braille and embosed numbers. The position of the hotel is great, right in the city center.

We felt that the room was organized for our comfort and needs as travelers. We loved the windows and the fact that we could open them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. No sounds of other guests at all. We appreciated all aspects of the room..it was perfect for us. The bathroom also was excellent. It would be nice to have a place to hang the wet bath towels so they could dry and be used again. The breakfast room and the large number of breakfast choices was unexpected but very much appreciated. We thought our entire experience was exceptional.

We got a room at the top floor and with that comes a balcony with beautifull view of the city center, it was lovely. Garage is near hotel, a bit claustrophobic,but what else can you expect in the center of old city, I think they did their best, with the old building:). Air condition was a bit noisy,but very strong, which was great in the hot summer evening. Reception girl was very helpful and friendly, they even postponed our check-out till 12. But breakfast were a bit strange - our expectations were very high, because on booking.com, fantastic breakfast were mentioned, but when we came in the morning,we needed to stand in the line with other people and wait for our turn to come to the table, that forbade us to come to the tables full of food, and we needed to tell a waiter which food do we want…there were fruits, meat, cheeses, eggs…but it was tough to decide what I want if I could not see it…So I asked for scrambled eggs,ehich I left on the plate (because they were yellow for turmeric maybe), and we needed to order even drinks,and this did the same guy, that was serving customers and the buffet table,it was long and bit of inconvenient. I believe that the hotel had a reason for that ( maybe Corona) and they did nit want people to gather in the area with food, but we gathered in front of the ordering table…so I could not see the point. But location of the hotel is the best!!:)
